Fun Facts!
When I got bored during primary school, I liked to sit back and revise words.
It was as if I’d get rewarded with ecstatic loving arms on the off chance I perfectly strung them together in iambic pentameter. Did this grinding have much use outside, in the real world? Not a single bit. That was the fun of it.
I liked to memorise facts, like for instance: Did you know there are 117 million lakes in the world! And I don’t belong here.
There are 7 million nerves in a human body? I long to be touched.
Grass isn’t supposed to grow tall. I need somebody to look over me.
Acacia trees can warn each other of danger. I never learned how.
Mayflies only live for 24 hours. Living is harder than I thought it would be.
